# SynapseLayer.ai > Operomic infrastructure for enterprise AI. SynapseLayer extracts, compiles, and executes the operome — the deterministic rule set of an organisation — so AI agents can operate inside binding business processes. The operome is the machine-executable rule set of a company, extracted from source documents such as contracts, policies, procedures, pricing schedules, regulatory documents, approval paths, exception logic, and operational practice. SynapseLayer extracts, compiles, stores, and executes the operome as a deterministic logic graph. Agents propose actions. The operome enforces what is permitted, required, blocked, routed, or escalated. Only valid actions execute. SynapseLayer is not a rules engine, process mining system, RPA tool, or integration layer. Rules engines execute manually configured rules. Process mining observes what happened. Integration tools move information. SynapseLayer extracts source-grounded rules and turns them into runtime execution infrastructure. Production proof: SynapseLayer powers fDesk, a European debt-capital-markets deployment with €600M+ processed, 100,068 validations, 99.98% decision accuracy, and zero compliance violations. Definition — Operome: The complete machine-executable normative rule set of an organisation, compiled from the documents that govern it (policies, contracts, regulations, procedures, charters, decisions) rather than inferred from observed behaviour. The act of compiling it is called operomisation. The terms "operome" and "operomisation" were introduced by SynapseLayer in March 2026. ## Pages - [Homepage](/): Overview of SynapseLayer and the operome thesis. - [What is the Operome?](/operome): Definition, structure, and origin of the operome. - [Foundational Theses](/theses): Five papers behind SynapseLayer's deterministic AI infrastructure. - [Insights](/insights): Analysis and commentary on enterprise AI reliability and deterministic decision systems. - [Live Simulation](/simulation): Interactive simulation of operomic execution against agent proposals. - [Research — AI Capital Formation 2026](/research/ai-capital-formation-2026): Mapping AI funding against sovereign GDP. ## Featured insights - [Beyond Ontology: The Operome](/insights/Operome): Names the hidden normative layer every enterprise runs on. - [Enterprise-as-Code](/insights/Enterprise-as-Code): Why a lawyer found what engineers missed. - [Deterministic Infrastructure and the Enterprise AI Divide](/insights/deterministic-infrastructure-and-the-enterprise-ai-divide): The divide between probabilistic agents and deterministic execution. - [Palantir Just Proved the Ontology Thesis](/insights/palantir-just-proved-the-ontology-thesis): Karp at Davos and what it means for the operome. - [Your AI Is Faking It](/insights/your-ai-is-faking-it): Why probabilistic output fails inside binding business processes. ## Optional - [Sitemap](/sitemap.xml) - Contact: rk@synapselayer.ai, hello@synapselayer.ai
